There was pandemonium at the Ikorodu chapter of the Lagos State polytechnic after suspected cult members shot dead four persons.
It was learnt that the gang arrived in the community on Friday around 8pm on two motorcycles.
According to our source, identified as Tunde, who was security personnel at the polytechnic attacked walking along the first gate, was the first to be killed.
Also killed on the spot was a school staff named TJ, who was shot on the neck at a close range. Our source also gathered that these two were not cult members but a victim of circumstance
“After leaving that spot, they shot at other young men returning from work. People were injured by the sporadic shooting. A man was also injured in the stomach.” he added.
The assailants, according to reports are the notorious cult group which reportedly been terrorizing members of Ikorodu community and the school.
The duo did not survive the attack.
