
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, this afternoon, Monday, May 16, 2016, appeared before members of the House of Representatives to defend the increase in petroleum pump price which he announced last week.

Kachikwu said if the fuel price is not increased, fuel queues will return, there will be no money in the federation account allocation committee and there will be a social disruption. He also said Nigerian refineries are obsolete and require maintenance
