All cannot be said to be well with Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State and his former Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Louis Odion. The people of the state are now wagging their tongues over what would have caused a friction between the Comrade Governor and his former mouth piece, who defended him (the governor) so well, while he held sway as the Commissioner for Information and Orientation. The people of the state were shocked to the marrows of their bones when the former commissioner demanded an apology for the Edo State Governor after his Chief Press Secretary, Peter Okhiria wrote an article to malign the former commissioner. Odion demanded that Okhiria retracts the article within 24 hours or he would take steps to remedy the situation.
According to the commission, “God knows I have tried to restrain myself as far as the unfolding Edo conundrum is concerned. I can overlook the bleating of these political he-goats, but certainly not an ‘iconoclastic’ attempt to cast aspersion on my professional competence and integrity by kindergarten spin doctors seeking traction. It is for this reason; I am using this medium to demand Governor Oshiomhole to direct.
