
Reggae musician, King Wadada has advised upcoming artistes to produce meaningful songs with a diversity of issues and not those that focus only on love for women.
Wadada, a 2010 KORA award winner, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recently.

According to him, if artists want their songs to be meaningful, they need to choose subjects that resonate with them personally or with burning issues in the society.
“I will advise the upcoming artistes to spread the message in their songs beyond the love they have for women because the youths now are more interested in talking about love. he said
King Wadada, real name Austin Peter added, “So in music generally if you have to pass a message, you cannot just don’t focus on love alone. “It (music) concerns every aspect of life; so they should be able to touch (on) every aspect of life, not just love.
